Water and climate - past and present

Water is essential for ecosystems and our communities to thrive. Earth’s changing climate impacts water’s availability and community wellness.

In the Rademacher Lab, we work on interdisciplinary teams to answer questions about water resource sustainability, climate change, and the impacts on communities. Here, students are central to our research success!

Climate, water, and people in urban environments

Urban and agricultural activities alike can impact water resource availability and water quality in these regions. Climatic variability (e.g., drought) and rejuvenation (e.g., restoration and gentrification) can both hinder and help improvement efforts.
